Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of BSBI, Sagi Hartov is a successful cellist who has taken part in several festivals and competitions, as well as recording advertisement soundtracks for BBC and Universal Records. He has been a member of the London Mozart Trio and he is the founder of the Ernest Bloch classical competition. He also serves as Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at the London College of Contemporary Arts.

Dr. Alexandra Gray
Dr. Alexandra Gray, Academic Director at BSBI, previously worked as Senior Lecturer in International Human Resources Management at the University of Law and Senior Lecturer at Interactive Pro. After obtaining her doctorate in 1997, she began lecturing in Human Resources Management at Leeds University Business School. Between 2003 and 2005, she spent some time in France where she worked as a consultant on the delivery of various corporate training and MBA modules.
Alexander, Associate Dean of BSBI, studied management economics at the Friedrich Alexander University in Nuernberg and spent some time in the USA, Spain and France during his studies. He was previously Managing Director of Radio Charivari Nuernberg, as well as founder of the management consultation “Zeitelhack.com”.

Anna, German Lecturer at BSBI, holds a master’s degree in Theatre, Film and Media, as well as Classical Philology. She has extensive teaching experience in German to students across different levels. She is also fluent in Dutch, Polish, English and Russian.
Dr. Lars Peters
Research Module Leader
Lars, Research Module Leader at BSBI, is also an experienced freelance media and market research consultant, journalist, moderator and lecturer for various institutions. Previously, as well as working for Radio Marketing Service, he worked as assistant professor at the Department of Journalism and Communication Research in Hannover. Since 2018, he has become chairman of the Online Audio Division at the German Organisation for Digital Economy.
Dr. Kristina Piilik
Lecturer, Tutor and Trainer
After receiving her LLB from the University of Tartu, Kristina also gained an MA and a PhD in International Relations from Freie Universität Berlin, as well as an MBA from the Estonian Business School, Uppsala Universitet and Fudan University. Since her PhD studies, she has been working as an academic writing and dissertation consultant and guest lecturer for various academic institutions. At BSBI, she is supporting master’s students to develop and improve academic skills needed to write a thesis. Kristina is fluent in Estonian, English, German, Russian, Swedish and also speaks Italian and Mandarin.
Gafur, a German Lecturer at BSBI, has been teaching German as a foreign language for more than 10 years. His teaching method is the combination of six channels such as speaking, listening, writing, reading, vocabulary and grammar, each underpinned by appropriate exercises. His motto is "Learning German with fun and humour" since he believes learning is a completely natural process that brings and requires joy. He teaches at all levels and he is also bilingual, fluent in Russian, English, Turkish, Azerbaijani and Arabic.
With a degree from the University of Gottingen and several years of teaching experience in the field of marketing and communications, Kathrin is currently a trainer and lecturer at BSBI Berlin. Fluent in Spanish, she previously worked as lecturer in management of campaigns and project management at Ascenso Akademie, in Palma de Mallorca.
Born and raised in Berlin, Marion is an author and language lecturer. Following her studies in engineering sciences, she spent some time abroad to study Spanish and Arabic at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She also spent 15 years as a journalist between Berlin and Spain. Among other things, she is the author of the first narrative grammar of German, initially for Spanish speakers, "Deutsch a la berlinesa".
Chad Manian is an international academic, keynote speaker, mentor and specialist in strategy and entrepreneurship. He holds the Chair at several international committees and think tanks on technology, global policy and educational reform. Chad has founded and led several leading initiatives bringing together cutting-edge thinkers, Nobel laureates and industry leaders. He is a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, British Academy of Management and currently teaches on the Global Masters programmes delivered at BSBI.
Dr. Gergely Farkas
Gergely holds a doctorate in Mathematics from University of Barcelona, as well as two MSc degrees in Applied Mathematics from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest and Stochastic and Financial Mathematics from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. He previously worked as a Research Analyst for the European Central Bank and as a lecturer in Mathematics, Statistics and IT for various business schools in Barcelona. Gergely also holds a degree in Actuarial Sciences and in Contemporary Dance. He speaks Hungarian, English, Spanish and Catalan.
Dr. Simone Eisenhauer

2018. She holds a BA in Tourism from the University of Brighton, UK and received her Master’s degree in Tourism from the University of Otago in New Zealand. She obtained her PhD in Sport Business Management in 2013 from the University of Technology in Sydney. Through her involvement in university/government partnership projects, Simone gained extensive knowledge about qualitative research methods.
Visa and Compliance Manager
After gaining a master’s degree in 2015 in International Relations in the XIX-XX centuries from Ovidius University of Constanta, Romania, Mircea worked as a visa submission officer at VFS in Leipzig and Berlin. During his studies, he spent some time in Riga, Latvia. He speaks Romanian, English, Russian and German.

Currently pursuing her Global MBA at BSBI, Ankita is also part of the Student Services team. Among her tasks, she is in charge of helping students with finding suitable accommodation in Berlin and she answers the students’ queries. She also provides students with extra support with various other activities, such as inventory and marketing merchandise management, coordinating for marketing events and photos. Being a student herself, she knows how challenging it can be to settle in within a new city and a new study environment. Therefore, her aim is to make the students’ transition as easy as possible.
