By combining a practical and interactive approach with discussions on pioneering changes, the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) course empowers you to grow in your studies and professional career.
WHAT WILL THE STUDENT EXPERIENCE?
Throughout the DBA, you will cover essential concepts of business management and research, including management and administrative theories, research and business models as well as research methods. From this, you will develop problem-solving and decision-making skills which are vital for successful management in the business sector. Additionally, you will learn how to apply management research techniques and concepts to the drafting of a business-related thesis.
The last two years of the programme will be dedicated to carrying out research and preparing a dissertation on a relevant topic of your choice. Our unique approach to the DBA involves both experienced academics and senior business professionals to help mentor your through your research.
You will also have the option to learn German.
The course is delivered 100% on-campus with full access to state-of-the art facilities. Students will also have additional access to course and reading materials via the UNINETTUNO platform.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Academic Profile
- Min age: 23
Academic qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution in a business-related discipline, as well as a master’s degree, Level 7 postgraduate qualification or an MBA from a recognised Institution.
- Applicants with degrees in other disciplines and applicants with no bachelor’s or master’s degree, but with other academic qualifications and significant professional experience at executive level, are also welcome to apply. Their acceptance might be subject to successfully sitting an entrance test and an interview.
Research Proposal:
Applicants will also have to submit a detailed research proposal which will include: research topic rationale, aims and objectives, primary and secondary research questions, methodology, research structure and design, initial literature review.

After successful completion of the DBA in Economics and Business Administration programme, students will have opportunities to work in areas such as banking, finance and accounting. Successful graduates will have the knowledge and skills to secure placements in large consultancy firms, international retailers and fashion houses and other service industries. You can also pursue research degrees at top universities around the world. In addition, graduates of this programme can apply for exemptions from relevant professional examinations of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Students on this programme may also become student members of the Institute of Management.
