No, BSBI is a business school offering recognised undergraduate and postgraduate programmes via collaborations with universities.

Yes, degrees delivered at BSBI, awarded by Universitá Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO, University for the Creative Arts and Concordia University Chicago, are recognised and accredited.

UNINETTUNO, a no-state Italian university accredited by the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, specialising in blended and online international programmes. UNINETTUNO is authorised and has the jurisdiction to deliver programmes, sponsor visas and conduct teaching activities in Germany. UNINETTUNO is a recognised university in Italy and globally, whose awarded degrees fulfil the criteria of the Bologna Process of Universities. Please consider that each individual member state of the EU can have its own rules regarding the recognition of specific degrees.

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) has a history of 150 years and is fully recognised in the United States and also in Germany by the German NARIC as an H+ Institution. The programmes offered by Concordia-Chicago are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). In addition, the University’s College of Business is a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

The University for the Creative Arts is fully recognised in the UK and also in Germany by the German NARIC as an H+ Institution. It is a highly ranked institution based in the UK. More specifically it ranks highly in all three of the major UK league tables. No. All of our programmes are awarded by our academic partners who have their own awarding degree power and recognised by ANABIN and worldwide.

Under the title ‘master’s degree of Primo Livello’, the study programme does not guarantee a direct entry to a third cycle degree such as a DBA or a PhD in any university, as you also need a solid research proposal and usually five years of previous education in the first and second cycles. Doctorate applications are assessed on their merit and each university and country has their own admissions criteria. However, all graduates that we know with a UNINETTUNO master’s degree did not encounter any problem in being accepted. UNINETTUNO is now also offering, via BSBI, its own DBA course for students who wish to progress from their postgraduate qualifications, in Berlin.

University for the Creative Arts (UCA) uses UK credits and in this framework all Bachelor programmes have 360 UK credits (e-year duration) and all Masters 180 UK credits (18-month duration).

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) uses the American credit system and the 2 Master programmes (the MBA and the MA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship) that BSBI runs in Berlin carry 36 and 30 credits/ credit hours respectively (2-year duration).

No, according to student contract, it is clear that if a student fails to submit on time or did not successfully pass his or her assignment, we require a resubmission which will incur an admin fee of 100 euros. The cost covers the resubmission of the assignments as well as the marking. Students who have experienced personal circumstances, such illness etc. will not be charged.

Our university partners’ degrees (UNINETTUNO, UCA and CUC) are recognised across Europe and the rest of the world as well as being approved by Anabin as a H+institutions.

The DAAD website is only for German institutions and awarding bodies, which means that BSBI is not required to be featured on the DAAD website. Many international universities teaching degrees in Germany are not on the platform for the same reason.

That is correct – a Hochschule is a different kind of institution and BSBI is not meant to be listed on this type of website.
