The role

  • Offer administrative support to all of BSBI’s academic programmes
  • Service lecturers on campus
  • Work collaboratively with (international) partners, executing regulations and schedules
  • Monitor students’ performance and attendance at their programme
  • Support the faculty in the delivery of the programme
  • Organise the set-up, ensure smooth & timely running of exams, assessments

The role

  • Oversee and deliver a comprehensive International Student Recruitment and Brand Development
    Strategy for BSBI
  • Development and Management of an active student recruitment Agency Network
  • Identify marketing media channels and monitor brand development opportunities
  • Attend fairs and university visits to promote and recruit potential students
  • Hands-on management of prospective student applications
  • Handle daily inquiries regarding all courses from potential sources

Specific Job Knowldege, skills and abilities

Finance

  • Implementation and optimisation of a holistic operational cost accounting for the
    group company
  • Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual company reports
  • Conversion and introduction of accounting software, contact for auditors and tax
    consultants
  • Set up a budgeting system, train employees and monitor cost-control measures to
    achieve business goals
  • Creating the budget together with the Head of Programme
  • Monitoring and managing cash (cash flow)
  • Optimisation of internal and cross-departmental controlling processes
  • Daily accounting, booking, payments, declaration and registrations
  • Close collaboration with tax advisory offices


HR

  • Contract management for academic and non-academic staff

  • If necessary, gradual repatriation of payroll accounting in-house
  • Development and optimilisation of job descriptions
  • Recruiting in close cooperation with the Director of Curriculum and Quality

Professional skills

  • Commercial education, at least a master's degree (ideally business administration) or
    equivalent training

The Visa and Compliance Manager will coordinate non-immigrant visa and support services for international students and scholars.

  • Interpret and apply regulatory visa policies related to international students
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on current immigration laws and procedures related to international students and scholars
  • Offer workshops for the campus community
  • Communicate updated regulations and policies to the team
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Serve as a resource to international students and scholars, and as a liaison to all departments

Experience
