Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) is a private college established in 2018 offering Bachelor and Master programmes. We are focused on helping graduates to become exceptional leaders in their chosen field. This means that every course we offer is designed with enterprise, leadership, and your success in mind.

The role:

  • Provide administrative support in the delivery of all BSBI’s academic programs
  • Organise the program set-up and to ensure smooth and timely running of exams and assessments
  • Monitor students’ performance and attendance at their program
  • Respond to student’s queries
  • Manage teaching modules materials online and offline / information management
  • Support colleagues from the Student services on campus
  • Work effectively with a diverse range of service providers and colleagues
  • Manage any other tasks given by the senior management of BSBI

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • High level of customer focus and excellent attention to detail, first-rate organisational skills
  • High level of discretion, diplomacy, and cultural intelligence
  • Experience in working, living or studying abroad or with international audiences
  • Fluency in English and basic knowledge of German

Preferred qualifications

  • Proven track record in the areas of academic affairs, student services, enrolment management, continuing education, program development, and administration
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new approaches and methods and to create innovative solutions

We are now in a search for a knowledgeable HR Manager especially in the field of employment regulations and current law who can support the management in building a HR strategy aimed at supporting a very fast growing and very diverse company. Job Role

BSBI is seeking a highly motivated and professional HR Manager to work in our busy HR department within the school.

Your duties will include:

  • Support senior management in defining the HR strategy going forward to support the company’s growth plans
  • Act as the go-to person for personnel questions and guide managers on how to deal with basic matters in the first stage
  • Promote a supportive culture in a very fast faced environment
  • Assist in setting up personal development programs for our employees
  • Manage the staff recruitment process and act as the line manager of HR assistants
  • Support the onboarding / leavers processes
  • Help our international team with personal visa assistance, legal and tax consulting, German law questions etc.
  • Organizing team building exercises and company events
  • Take responsibility for HR Management including: sick leave, vacation requests, writing employment certificates, setting up employment contracts, payroll, etc.)
  • Manage employee data according to GDPR
  • Support payroll and accounting

 

Job Requirements

  • Profound understanding of the German labor law

  • Able to quickly build strong relationships with employees
  • Able to listen and understand when to take action
  • Professional English and German skills in written and verbal form
  • Extensive experience in the field of human resources

As a BSBI lecturer you will be responsible for the student progress and academic achievement. We are searching for three full-time and fixed Lecturers in the academic fields of:

  1. Marketing and Business Environment
  2. Accounting and Managerial Finance
  3. Research Methods and Scientific Work

The role

  • Plan, prepare, teach/deliver modules and support student’s learning on a range of
    programmes and related subject areas
  • Provide guidance, support and tutorship for student groups and individuals as
    appropriate
  • Use a range of delivery techniques to enthuse and engage students
  • Material and audit preparation
  • Online platform preparation
  • Orientation and induction planning
  • Meet partnership and internal quality assurance processes in relation to programmes
  • Develop and grow relationships with partnership organisations
  • Carry out academic administration duties as required
  • Maintain personal and professional development in line with agreed appraisal and
    development program in order to enhance personal knowledge and contribution to
    relevant activities

Experience
Applicants should have suitable and relative teaching experience and should hold a MA/MBA or
higher degree in a relevant subject area. PhD holders with current publications are welcomed.
A teaching qualification would be advantageous.
