About the role

We are looking for a Head of HR who is ready to manage all HR processes of our Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Athens and Barcelona campuses from end to end, and who is ready to manage our diversity-centered and very dynamic team!

You will make an impact by:

  • Establish and scale an efficient, high-performing HR shared services function that delivers exceptional support, ensuring rapid growth while maintaining quality and operational excellence.
  • Create, update, and communicate internal and external HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current labor laws and best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on people and organizational issues: Employee Relations, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Performance Management and HR initiatives.
  • Design and establish scalable HR systems for performance reviews, talent development, and employee engagement, always ensuring best HR practices.
  • Help the organization grow by diagnosing gaps between current and desired organization performance, provide strategic counsel to leadership and deploy actions to help resolve gaps in the areas of organizational effectiveness, organizational design, talent management, succession, employee development, executive coaching and employee relations.
  • Foster a strong, growth – oriented culture grounded in core values, supporting resilience during rapid expansion.
  • Create strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and long-term career development within the organization.
  • Develop fair, competitive, and transparent compensation structures that support sustainable company growth.
  • Working with the Talent and Business Partner teams, evolve and embed talent strategies to enable diversity, inclusion and engagement.
  • Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., Organizational Change, Performance Management, Talent Development, and Succession Planning).
  • Develop and lead a Europe based HR Generalist/Talent Acquisition team, contribute to the HR transformation underway.

About you



Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Business, Psychology, Labor Law, or a related field, ideally with a focus on HR.
  • Several years of professional experience (minimum 7 years) in a responsible HR position, ideally in a fast paced, high growth and dynamic international corporate environment.
  • Experience managing change, shaping culture, influencing leadership, developing talent, managing risk and ensuring compliance.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law, payroll processing, and HR best practices.
  • Experience in team leadership and management of HR processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with a high level of empathy and assertiveness.
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and tasks.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to identify inefficiencies in HR processes and implement solutions.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Outstanding negotiation skills, particularly in fostering constructive dialogue during labor relations and contract negotiations.
  • Proven ability to manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and achieving measurable results through defined performance indicators.
  • Skills in managing HR aspects during times of crisis or organizational change, including restructuring or mergers.
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing HR technology platforms.
