Overview

Dr. Benjamin Bensam holds a doctorate in Business Administration and has over 20 years of experience in managing corporate companies, including institutions of higher learning. His areas of speciality include research, finance, marketing, business management, lecturing, ICT, and human resource development. He also holds an MBA in Strategic Management, which enhances his ability to formulate strategic plans and analyse the drivers and barriers of international business. Additionally, he has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science, equipping him with models and theories of business administration and a focus on digital transformation management.

During his career, Dr. Bensam has served in several higher education positions, including University Registrar, Vice-Chancellor, and Campus Manager. He is well-experienced in business administration and excels at managing corporate companies. He has worked as a consultant for many companies globally, bringing strong skills in business management and interdisciplinary experience in simplifying complex topics and concepts. He is adept at problem-solving under challenging circumstances and possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills for a variety of audiences.

Dr. Bensam has extensive experience in managing boards, including serving as Secretary of the University Council and Senate. He was the Board Chair for Yes Bud Online University and has been an external consultant for the National Council of Higher Education on the assessment of programmes for registration and accreditation.

He is currently a faculty member at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) in the Faculty of Economics & Business Administration, where his focus is primarily on providing consultation and mentoring to students to enhance their academic and professional skills. He is also involved in assessing programmes for collaborations and partnerships with other international universities. Additionally, he has worked as a marketing manager and computer manager for Catering Services Ltd and Airport Development Limited, respectively, where he implemented several financial information management systems using ACCPAC, SAGE, and Pastel accounting packages.
