Dr. Waseem Alhasan

Lecturer
Dr. Alhasan is a passionate and dedicated educator and researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, with ten years of academic experience. His research interests include deep learning, computational intelligence, data analysis, data visualisation, data warehousing, and big data.

Overview

Dr. Alhasan is a passionate and dedicated educator and researcher in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, with ten years of academic experience. He is currently working as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer Science & Informatics at the Berlin School of Business and Innovation. Dr. Alhasan’s research interests include deep learning, computational intelligence, data analysis, data visualisation, data warehousing, and big data. He has published multiple papers in prestigious journals and conferences and has authored a coursebook for engineering students. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Cairo University since 2012. He is also a member of IEEE and holds UAE Golden Residency. Dr. Alhasan’s mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of data science and artificial intelligence through his teaching and research. He strives to inspire and empower his students and colleagues to pursue excellence and innovation in these domains.
