BSBI League | Environmental Protection and Beyond

The urgency of environmental protection has never been more pressing. With climate change accelerating and natural resources depleting, it is crucial to adopt sustainable practices to safeguard our planet for future generations.

To raise awareness and address key environmental issues such as pollution, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and climate change, BSBI League is organising the event “Environmental Protection and Beyond” on 5 June 2024 from 3PM to 4PM CET in the Holographic Theatre, Alte Post Berlin Campus. During the event, students will participate in a challenge, competing on brain-engaging questions about protecting and appreciating nature, including topics like different types of pollution, e-waste, and other sustainable development goals.

The event will be hosted by Dr. Svitlana Samoylenko, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and Dr. Kaddour Chelabi, Lecturer, who will share their valuable knowledge about environmental protection. They will also discuss the fine differences in cultures, political systems, economies, environments, and landscapes. Students will have the chance to learn more about innovative technologies and sustainable practices that can mitigate these challenges and promote a healthier, more resilient environment.
