The environmental challenges we face require innovative solutions. Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to be a powerful tool in optimising resource management, reducing waste, and driving progress towards a sustainable future.
This workshop aims to explore the various applications of AI in sustainability and equip participants with the knowledge to leverage this technology for positive environmental impact.
“AI for a Greener Future: Optimising Our Way to Sustainability” is on 3 July 2024 from 12-1PM CET at the Alte Post Berlin Campus. Our BSBI Lecturers, Dr Kaddour Chelabi and Dr. Navya Gubbi Sateeshchandra will lead the workshop.
Workshop Objectives
- Raise awareness about the potential of AI for environmental sustainability.
- Explore how AI can be used to optimise resource management in different sectors (e.g., energy, agriculture, waste).
- Discuss real-world applications of AI for sustainability through case studies.
- Equip participants with the knowledge to identify opportunities for AI implementation in their work.
This on-campus event is open to all BSBI students who are interested in exploring, learning about, and building a career in the IT industry.
