BSBI Management Society | Statistical Analysis in Python for Beginners Workshop

The statistical analysis process has changed over the recent years. The advent of more advanced tools like Python now makes analyses simpler and quicker.

To provide comprehensive information about the fundamentals of data analysis and Python, how to use the programming language effectively and how students can leverage this on their dissertations, the BSBI Management Society is organising a “Workshop on Statistical Analysis in Python for Beginners.”

The workshop will be on 12th June 2023 and will be hosted by Dr Palanivel Rathinasabapathi Velmurugan, Lecturer at BSBI. Dr Balaganesh Duraisamy, Lecturer, is our guest speaker and will discuss the techniques and tools necessary for effective data analyses.

Topics covered:

• Creation of a data dictionary and conversion into a pandas’ data frame.
• Use of describe function on a data frame.
• Application of statistical analysis on the dataset.

All BSBI students are welcome to attend.
