Careers Event | Labour markets in Germany and Spain – Advice Session and Workshop

This practical session is designed to support students on both the Global MBA (English Route) and Global MBA (Spanish Route) degree courses in their transition from Barcelona to Berlin (English route) or in their internship/working student jobs in Spain (Spanish one).

Points covered in this part of the workshop will include the following:

Labor Market in Germany (in English)

• support offered by the Careers Service during your transition
• navigation of the BSBI Careers Portal 
• presentation of BSBI partner employers in Berlin
• current employment law regulations for international student visa holders
• standard recruitment process for internships and working students positions in Germany
• showcase of Germany-formatted CVs and cover letters
• information on German language provision for BSBI students in 2025
• in-person individual career appointments on-site in Barcelona on 27 September

Labor Market in Spain (in Spanish)

• support offered by the Careers Service
• navigation of the BSBI Careers Portal 
• showcase of Spain-formatted CVs and cover letters
• standard recruitment procedures
• linguistic and cultural factors for employment in Spain
• placements in Spain under Training Agreement framework – deadlines and documents required
