BSBI and UE hold Altona Career Fair 2024 for Hamburg students

On Thursday 23 May, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation and the University of Europe for Applied Sciences organised the first-ever joint Altona Career Fair 2024 event in Hamburg for current students and recent alumni.

The Altona Career Fair took place at the UE Hamburg campus in the district of Altona. The event was attended by employers from 12 organisations from a wide range of sectors and presented their employment opportunities to a combined group of around 150 BSBI and UE students and graduates.

The participants were able to speak to recruiters from various Hamburg companies, to introduce themselves to potential employers in the city and to expand their network. The event also included individual portrait photoshoots for their CV and Behance or LinkedIn profiles, followed by a networking session in the outdoor courtyard.

Gargi Shingte, MA Visual Communication Student at BSBI, said: “I am really excited to be part of this career fair. It was an interesting place to get to know the job market in Germany and interact with the companies that I am about to apply to.”

The BSBI and UE Careers Team continue to engage local companies in the creative sector in Hamburg and beyond to forge partnerships to benefit current students and recent graduates.
