BSBI holds summer graduation ceremony for 180 students
On Thursday 7 July, Berlin School of Business and Innovation hosted its summer graduation ceremony, which recognised the academic achievements of more than 180 students.
Around 80 graduates from around the world took part in the ceremony held at Estrel Center in Berlin, with others attending online via a YouTube livestream. Families and friends were also present to share this important moment with the students and celebrate their success.
The event featured the keynote address from Dr Nicola Paravati, Head of International Affairs Office of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO. He said: “I would like to congratulate all the students for this great achievement. Starting from today they are part of an international community made by students, alumni, academics and professionals from all over the world.
“They are coming from different countries and cultures, they completed their studies in Berlin and online during one of the most difficult periods of our recent history and finally were awarded with a European degree. They are definitely representing the new generation of students that we all should be proud of.”
Sagi Hartov, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Provost and Chief Academic Officer, and Dr Anastasios Fountis, Head of Undergraduate Studies, also delivered inspirational speeches to the graduates as they talked about the legacy of BSBI and the journey they had been on with the school.
The graduation ceremony was closed by Geetan Graslausius Chezhian, graduating from the BA in Economics and Business Administration programme. Geetan was the first Student Council President to be elected for three consecutive years, and he worked closely with the student services team assisting them in various student related activities.
