BSBI hosts winter graduation ceremony for class of 2024

On Monday 29 January, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation hosted its winter graduation ceremony, acknowledging the academic accomplishments of the students from the class of 2024.

The ceremony unfolded at the Estrel Centre in Berlin and witnessed the participation of nearly 150 BSBI graduates from both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes affiliated with three universities: University of Creative Arts (UCA), Concordia University of Chicago (CUC), and International Telematic University UNINETTUNO, making it the largest graduation ceremony to date. While more than 110 guests attended the ceremony in person, hundreds of family members and friends witnessed the event online via YouTube livestream, celebrating their success.

The ceremony held special significance in the history of BSBI for several reasons. Notably, it marked the graduation of the first batch of students from other campuses, specifically Paris campus, showcasing the growth and success of BSBI beyond its Berlin base. Furthermore, the ceremony included the first batch of graduates from IT programmes: MSc Information Technology Management (UCA) and MSc Data Analytics (UCA), contributing to the diversity and expansion of the Alumni network.

Mr Adarsh Agarwal, former student council president of postgraduate students, who graduated from the MA Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management programme, delivered the student graduation address. He said: “To my fellow graduates, congratulations on reaching this milestone. As we step into the future, let’s carry these experiences with us. Let’s remember that our journey doesn’t end here; it’s a foundation for the adventures yet to come. Let’s face the future with the same determination and spirit that brought us to this moment.”

Sagi Hartov, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, expressed his pride and excitement about the graduates’ journey with the school. He offered valuable words of wisdom, emphasising how AI and technology can assist them in the near future.

For the first time, Sulekha Sabah Mohamud, one of the highest achievers from the MSc Information Technology Management (UCA) programme, addressed the audience, stating: “As young leaders, I believe our professional life did not start now; it started the moment we stepped into BSBI or maybe even before. Remember the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and let them guide us towards success. Congratulations, Class of 2024! As we step into the world, let’s make our mark and inspire positive change.”

Matthew Andrew, MA in Photography, Programme Director for Fashion Image at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), graced the event as the guest speaker. He remarked: “On your academic journey, you have embraced new challenges, conquered new subjects, and formed new connections. Today, you stand here not just as graduates but as individuals shaped and moulded by the constant embrace of new experiences.”

BSBI extends its congratulations to all the graduates and wishes them the best for their future endeavours.
