BSBI joins Neukolln Lenkungsgruppe initiative

Earlier this month, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation joined the Lenkungsgruppe of the Aktion! Karl-Marx-Straße initiative, which brings together various stakeholders of Karl-Marx-Straße, including residents, tradespeople, business owners, service providers, property owners, tenant representatives, and cultural workers.

The group meets to discuss key projects and plans for the redevelopment of Karl-Marx-Straße. It also maintains a close dialogue with the Neukölln district to promote positive developments, comment on initiatives, and actively influence decisions.

Recently, Charlotte Saal, Head of Student Services at BSBI, was elected as one of the new members of the Lenkungsgruppe, representing BSBI.

Following the election, Charlotte said: “Karl-Marx-Straße has become a new home for us and our diverse student body, representing over 100 nations, contributes to a vibrant and intercultural cityscape. Therefore, it’s important for me to engage with local residents and interested parties, fostering communication and deeper exchange.”

BSBI congratulates Charlotte and looks forward to actively engaging in the development of the Karl-Marx-Straße area and the Neukölln district.
