BSBI students experiment with virtual learning

On Wednesday 18 September, BSBI students from the Global MBA programme had the chance to enjoy the unique experience of attending a tutorial via virtual learning.

Guided by Professor Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Programmes and Partnership Director at BSBI, each student created their own avatar. They then followed Professor Kyriakos around the virtual campus using web 3.0 tools to communicate with each other and discuss a case study for their Global MBA class.

Students were thrilled and enthusiastic as this was a special experience for them. Professor Kyriakos said: “Virtual learning is the future of online and blended education as it has no time or geographical constraints and can be used all around the world to improve the study experience. It was great to bring this new method of learning to BSBI.”
