Programme Overview

The MBA in Maritime and Shipping Management programme covers essential concepts of maritime and shipping management, including the law of the sea, port and ship cargo operations and management, marine insurance and chartering.

You will learn how to apply shipping management techniques and concepts to the international maritime sector. This includes, studying management theories and their real-world application in maritime and shipping.

You will develop problem-solving and decision-making skills, which are essential for successful management in the maritime sector.

In the final term, you will conduct research and prepare a dissertation on a relevant topic of your choice.

All students will have the option to learn German.

In addition to face-to-face sessions on campus, students will also be required to access online resources and contents as per the policy.

You will earn an Italian master’s degree with 90 European University Credits (ECTS).

The modules of the MBA in Maritime and Shipping Management are offered via a blended learning method. Students attend the online modules via the Uninettuno University platform and the Residential face-to-face sessions at the BSBI campus in Hamburg.

As part of the online modules, students will have the opportunity to attend extracurricular on-campus seminars and to access the online versions of the modules they study on campus.
