BSBI Agents for Peace Hackathon

Event Details

Venue: All BSBI Campuses

Time: 14:00 Europe/Berlin

Date: 22 March 2024

The world faces a surge of violent conflicts fueled by discrimination, racism, xenophobia, and hate speech. This violence permeates every corner of our lives, online and offline, regardless of who we are or where we come from. Education is more crucial than ever as a tool for lasting peace.

Inspired by UNESCO’s dedication to “learning for lasting peace,” join us on 22 March 2024, Friday, and be part of a simultaneous hackathon that will take place during the lecture period. This will occur across all BSBI campuses.

BSBI invites you to:

• Decode and re-learn the true meaning of peace in today’s world.

• Brainstorm actionable ideas for learning and promoting lasting peace.

• Collaborate with fellow students.

As a lasting symbol of our shared commitment to a peaceful world, Global MBA students, Vaishanavi Shet and Mona Mohseni, the artistic director, created the BSBI Mural of Peace. Visit the mural on the second floor of the Alte Post building on 22 March, between 10am and 5pm. An interactive zone will be available for visitors to draw their hands and learn more about the masterpiece from the artistic director.

Become a peace ambassador within the BSBI community and beyond.

This academic initiative is led by Dr. Gemma Vallet, Lecturer, BSBI.

With the support of BSBI faculty, staffs and student community.

Empowered by:
