Recently, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, in collaboration with OpenSource Science B.V. (OS-Sci), successfully hosted Foss FEST 2025: International Hackathon.
The Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), in partnership with the Berlin Senate Department for Economic Affairs and Public Enterprises, successfully hosted the 1st Special Workshop on Entrepreneurship Sensitisation Programme. This event, presented by the BSBI Entrepreneurship Start-up Initiative (BSBI-ESI), marked a significant step in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Berlin’s thriving start-up ecosystem.
In November, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation launched two pioneering industry-academy competitions, solidifying its reputation as a hub for business, innovation, creativity and industry collaboration.
BSBI hosted another engaging edition of Café Scientifique, delving into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the automotive industry.

This month, Dr Farshad Badie, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at BSBI, represented the Berlin School of Business and Innovation at the GL BAJAJ Institute of Management and Research in India.
On 18 October, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) organised a scientific trip to Knauer, a Germany-based leader in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and other advanced scientific instruments.
The 11th Responsible Management Education Research (RMER) Conference, hosted by the Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) in collaboration with PRME took place from the 23rd up to the 26th September 2024. Titled “Doing the Next Step: Responsible Management Education between Transforming and Radicalizing,” the event aimed to explore frameworks and strategies that will guide business schools towards a sustainable future. The conference was attended by more than 100 participants from all continents and educational institutions, including scholars, researchers and students from the PRME Global Network and its Signatories as well as the PRME Champions 2024-25.
Learn more about the latest BSBI Summer Graduation Ceremony 2024 held at the Estrel Centre in Berlin, celebrating the academic achievements of over 220 graduates. This event also marked the first MA Visual Communication graduates from Hamburg, highlighting BSBI’s growth and expanding alumni network.
